We welcome you to be a part of our family at the Grange Resort Yercaud and look forward to welcoming you. GRANGE The castle- Like building was built by the then Collector of Salem, Mr, M.D Cockburn between 1820 and 1829 A.D. It is believed to be the summer resort of Robert Clive – The British Big Wig of the East India Company way Back in the late 1800’s. Madras Presidency in 1842 found this place. David Cockburn, the Scottish collector of Salem district, between 1820 & 1829, was called the ‘Father of Yercaud “ for developing the resources of the Shevaroy Hills and for introducing coffee from Arabia, Apples, Jack Fruit, Berry, Oranges, Guava from South Africa .The attention of planters on the Shevaroys has been confined solely to coffee plantations. The cool climate attracted many tourist and is home away from home! Today, the Castle –Like Structure and the plantation is a part of the privately-run Grange Resort owned by the Sait Family. Grange Resort was built in the year 1998 , Imagine spending the night in a Independent Cottage and more than one hundred years old in a traditional coffee farm on a mountain range, enjoying the cool weather, singing of birds and abundant nature. During peak periods (e.g., holidays, festivals), cancellations made up to 30 days before check-in will receive a 30% refund. Cancellations made less than 30 days before check-in or no-shows will be charged the full amount.
Children and Beds
We warmly welcome children of all ages.
Children 18 years and above will be charged as adults at this property.

Additional charges for cots and extra beds are not included in the room rate. These charges will be applied separately and are payable during your stay.

Availability of cots and extra beds is subject to confirmation by the hotel.
